AMERICA’S NEW HEALTH CARE SYSTEM REVEALED

Have A Merry Christmas Filled with Common Sense!

We here at CT would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas!

Too Fat To Graduate

I’m all for promoting good health but this seems a little ridiculous and is a perfect example of where the liberal progressives are headed with universal health care.

BMI Requirement Causes Uproar

Instead of educating today’s youth the liberal colleges of America have seen fit to indoctrinate them with the liberal ideals to further the progressive movement in America. I think a Lincoln student said it best, “It’s not up to Lincoln to tell me how much my BMI should be. I came here to get a degree and that’s what the administration should be concerned with.” That’s what Sophomore Lousie Kaddie said in response to this new mandate from the school.

I’m sure the argument could be made that this will make more well-rounded students but isn’t that already the problem anyway.

Perez Hilton is a Bigot

Full Article Here

Perez Hilton is a bigot.  Yes, I did just say that the openly homosexual, talking head from Hollywood who makes his living insulting stars, is an open bigot.  I will let you be the judge but you can see from the linked article that he has openly professed himself as a bigot.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Miss North Carolina Kristen Dalton may have been crowned Miss USA 2009 on Sunday, but on Monday, it was Miss California Carrie Prejean’s answer to a question about same-sex marriage from celebrity blogger and pageant judge Perez Hilton that was the night’s biggest story.

During the show, Perez asked Carrie, “Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?”

“Well I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. Um, we live in a land that you can choose same sex marriage or opposite marriage and, you know what, in my country and in, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman,” Carrie said to a mix of boos and applause. “No offense to anybody out there. But that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think that it should be between a man and a woman.”

Carrie’s answer to the hot button question cost her the crown - at least according to Perez. “The way miss California answered her question lost her the crown, without a doubt!” Perez told Access Hollywood after the pageant. “Never before that I’m aware of has a contestant been booed at Miss USA.”

First, why is this guy a judge at the Miss America Pageant? What qualifies him for this particular role?

Second, the dictionary defines a “Bigot” as: One who is strongly partial to one’s own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.

Now judging only on what his response was, as to why he obviously blocked Miss California from winning, Perez Hilton is a bigot.

Gay marriage has been a hot button topic for many years and for him to put it to these contestants, like he is questioning a politician, was in poor taste. Most of the questions are stupid but Preze counts on shock value to keep him in a job and this was nothing more than that.

Educate yourself Perez. Every time gay marriage has gone on a ballot in states across this country it has been OVERWHELMINGLY voted down. It has never been close, it loses by a landslide. Why? The American people, as a collective, are not ready for that. It has only passed when the local government decides they must do what they think is right…and no homosexual activist groups call them bigots. And in doing so the local governments have stripped “The People” of their rights.

We have fought two wars over the fact a government was stripping “The People” of their rights, first the Revolutionary, then the Civil War. Once for taxation without representation, then…well federal taxation of states without representation. When you look around I guess we are there again huh?

I don’t care if they allow gay marriage, the reason being my bond with my wife is between me and God. The legal papers we filed with the state were only because the local laws of the land required it, not because God does. I obey God’s rules on marriage and obey the law of the land unless it directs me to disobey God.

You should be ashamed for doing to that young lady what you CLAIM is done to you and those who choose to live the lifestyle you choose to live. Forcing your opinion down everyone’s throat and calling yourself a victim at the same time. You are a pitiful excuse for a man.

The People of America have voted time and time again, and your position has lost. Accept it and move along. There is no reason the vocal minority should have more say than the silent majority. That is just common sense, but today it seems not to be very common.

Gay Marriage challenge reaches California court…again.

You can find the news article here

Now, here is my issue with this. Proposition 8, the bill that clarified marriage is between one man, and one woman, passed by a significant margin. How did this happen you ask? Well, it happened the way it was suppose to happen, by a vote OF THE PEOPLE!

Of course this is never enough here in the People’s Republic of America (sad but this is where we are headed as our new Socialist leaders rip our Constitution to shreds).

Personally, I don’t care if they allow or ban gay marriage, my anger is not over whether it passed or failed, my anger is because we are pushing aside what THE PEOPLE voted for because some people (the homosexual activist movement) feels THEY are of a higher position and their views and desires are worth more, than the average heterosexual American.

Listen closely. YOU ARE WRONG! Enough already with fighting until you get your way by screaming “discrimination”. It makes you as ignorant as Jessie and Al screaming “racism” every time something doesn’t go the way they want it to. You are all coming across as quite arrogant, and I am sick of seeing our leaders pander to your ignorant blathering about what YOU demand YOU should have.

It was voted on. You lost. Period.

Now the argument (supposedly) is over the ability to see your ‘partner’ in the ICU at the hospital, being able to make health care decisions and such, this was the lead battle cry this time around. Let me educate you as to how you can have this ability without force feeding us your crap. Get a Healthcare Surrogate, a legal document giving you the ability to make these decisions, and it is 100% legal. You can get a Durable Power of Attorney if you want your ‘partner’ to be able to make decisions if you are incapacitated, or in the sad event of your passing.

Both of those are legal, binding documents that give you what you claim you are fighting for.

Now, the PEOPLE of California voted. The PEOPLE voted against what you wanted.

This government is suppose to be “Of the people, by the people, for the people”. You should stop trying to destroy our founding principles just to get your own personal way. Grow the heck up and stop your whining.

New Wisdom, Not Outdated Common Sense

Take a moment and watch the video linked below

Fred Thompson on the Economy

See…..yes we can!  We can watch the economy grow knowing that the ‘new’ Washington is still firmly under the guidance of ‘old’ Washington.  Sleep good knowing the same people who got us into the mess are going to lead us out of it.  Its kind of the blind leading the blind.  What a heart warming story that would make.
