If a man cuts his finger off while slicing salami at work, he blames the restaurant.
If you smoke three packs a day for 40 years and die of lung cancer, your family blames the tobacco company.
If you crash into a tree while driving home drunk, you blame the bartender.
If your grandchildren are brats without manners, you blame television.
If your friend is shot by a deranged madman, you blame the gun manufacturer.
If a street racer crashes into a law abiding citizen and kills them, you blame the police for not cracking down.
If your unable to pay your mortgage on a house you could never afford in the first place, you blame the mortgage company.
If a teenager goes on a shooting spree at his school, you blame video games.
If you gain too much weight and become diabetic you blame McDonalds for their “Super Size” meals.
And if a crazed person breaks into the cockpit and tries to kill the pilot at 35,000 feet, and the passengers kill him instead, the mother of the crazed deceased blames the airline.
If you lose your job you blame the government, even though you don’t work for the government.
If I die while my butt is parked in front of this computer, I want all of you to blame it on Bill Gates.
WAKE UP AMERICA! It is time to stand and take responsibility, lets stop playing the balme game.

Someone recently pointed out to me that in most things, experience counts.
You couldn’t't get a job at McDonald’s and become district manager after 143 days of experience. You couldn’t become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon. You couldn’t get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after 143 days of experience. You couldn’t join the military and become a colonel after a 143 days of experience. You couldn’t get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news anchor after 143 days of experience.
BUT….
From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That’s how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.
After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World…. 143 days.
We all have to start somewhere. The senate is a good start, but after 143 days, that’s all it is - a start. AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public is okay with this and campaigning for him. Imagine for a moment you have served in your job for years, trained many employees, lead others, supervised major projects and have been in the line of fire for standing your ground on principal. Then along comes a brand new employee who after 143 days declares he not only wants to advance but expects you and everyone in the office to support him as he moves to the top position above you all. Honestly. Would you? No, and if you answered any other way your not being honest.
We wouldn’t accept this in our own line of work, yet some are okay with this for the President of the United States of America? Come on folks, we are not voting for the next American Idol! Wake up America, you’re being tricked by a Chicago politician with no experience.
Common Sense must rule.

I hate seeing people who say whatever it takes to get THEM what THEY want. Let us examine a few of Mr. Biden’s latest ideas, comments and bold pronouncements.
Sen. Joseph Biden has said paying higher taxes is a matter of patriotism as he recently defended Sen. Barack Obama’s plan to raise taxes on higher incomes, saying: “It’s time to be patriotic … time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to get America out of the rut.”
Senator Biden, do you not realize that the people who have jobs can attribute that directly to the people you’re bashing? The very people you consider unpatriotic because they have made money in their lives by producing products and jobs in our country, are the reason we can collect taxes. Further they top 15% pay almost 50% of the collected taxes…AND still run business’ and produce jobs.
Senator Biden now offered a religious basis for his fiscally irresponsible, tax raising ideas. The senator told a group of union workers last week: “Catholic social doctrine as I was taught is: You take care of people who need help the most.” Gosh that sounds all sweet and nice.
True, the New Testament teaches that we are to help the poor but also teaches that God’s people will not be beggars. Let me provide an actual Biblical quotation for my position Senator.
2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. (11) For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a lazy manner, not working at all, but are busybodies. (12) Now those who are such, we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.
But we are to help those in need, not those who have decided to sit on their butts and let people give them what they THINK they deserve or what Reverend J. Wright tells them they deserve. I’m glad Senator Biden thinks people should get off their butts and give MORE though since that is the “patriotic” thing to do. I’m sure a man making those accusations has a history of digging deep.
Many Catholics, evangelicals, and non-Christians alike dig deep into their own pockets to fund non-profit organizations doing effective work on local levels. Others look to the government to dole out help to people in need. Some embrace a mixture of both. But wait, Senator Biden’s personal tax records indicate the senator may rely heavily on government-based solutions because the record shows Senator Biden and his wife have reported contributing on average about $380 to charity annually over a 10 year period—about 0.2 percent of their income.
Senator Biden, you are a hypocrite and a liar with no Biblical knowledge and a gaping hole where your Common Sense should reside. Be gone with you and never darken our door with your wasteful breath again. I have had enough of these blow hards.

I received an email today and to be honest have wondered about the same bait-&-switch type maneuver myself. Lets face it Obama’s choice in Biden was politically stupid if his true intention was to reach out to the middle grounders because Biden is very polarizing and extremely ‘old’ Washington. Biden stated recently “Hillary would make a better Vice President than me”. See what is happening. Anyway onto the email….
On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur after the VP debate on 10/2.
There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info. generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out there to as many blog sites and personal email lists as is possible. I have already seen a few short blurbs about this - the “health problem” cited in those articles was aneurysm. probably many of you have heard the same rumblings. However, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like this Obama strategy will be a go.
Therefore, it seems that the best strategy is to get out in front of this obama maneuver, spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is.
Well? Any thoughts or projections?

“Barack Obama was a community organizer like Jesus, Pontius Pilate was a governor.”
And who can we credit with this absolutely insane example of stupid people being able to speak? None other than an elected official, yeah, I know…surprised right?
Typical of loony leftists defending Obama was Democratic Congressman Steve Cohen, who as a white Jewish candidate in a majority African-American Memphis district, fought an ugly campaign to eke out re-nomination.
Lets all stand and applaud Mr. Idiot. Yes you Congressman Steve Cohen are an idiot and personally insulting to Jesus and those who actually try to live by what He taught.

*Hold on to your hats for a sec*
All we are hearing from Washington, and I mean all of them from both parties, is “we are looking for a way to help the American people now”. They want to save you money at the gas pumps, they want to ease your burden and make sure you have what you need when you need it. Um, yeah. Anyone falling for this?
The government asked us to cut back out use of oil, which most people have done in one way or another because it is so expensive right now, but the point is WE DID. Most responsible people don’t leave extra lights on in rooms your not using, we don’t leave cars idiling just for the heck of it and many of us are cutting costs wherever possible to save our wallets. Good, all of that is good.
But wait…..
Now the congress is trying to slip a quiet $0.10 extra Federal tax onto every single gallon of gas you buy. What? Yes, it is that simple. Their reason? The American people are not buying enough fuel to keep the tax revenue coming in so they have to increase the cost to up the intake of the Federal government. Bufford! You can’t be serious! Yes, yes in fact I am.
But I thought it was the evil oil industry that was the enemy. Well, are they? Look at the numbers. First, in Florida the state makes $0.08 on every gallon sold. The Feds make $0.30 on every gallon sold in our country (and that will be $0.40 soon with the new tax). So the total they make off of us every time we pump is $0.38 (don’t forget the stupid .9 at the end) and that is without the upcoming tax.
Exxon, who posted profits that pissed off (what seemed like) every working person alive makes how much profit off of each gallon they drill, pump, refine and sell? Ready for the gross, horrific, inhumane number? Hold on…here it comes…. $0.08 cents for every gallon. What? No, wait, that can’t be right. Yes, yes it is. Add to that, if your a working American who has a retirement plan of any kind, your money is invested heavily with this and every other oil company out there. So what happens if the government does as one candidate is suggesting and takes control of that money and forces them to do with it as he wishes, or worse penalizes them with a huge tax for daring to make a profit that big? Your retirement is going down the crapper is what! You will suffer at the pump and in your retirement years too.
Still want to hang Exxon? Well you better hurry, that company is a whole 3% of the world’s oil market. Yes, a whopping 3%.
Why are we mad at the company? Why are we not screaming for the heads of our elected ‘representatives’ in Washington? They get more of your money with every gallon pumped!
This is fact, not opinion, so if your upset about me saying it I guess you need to find a wall to beat your head on, because these are facts that won’t change by screaming about little bitty Exxon and its 3% of the world’s oil market and $0.08 cents per gallon profit. I hope they keep my retirement fund strong because I look forward to it one day.

If you have not read the new book by Johah Goldberg you need to. He has been attacked by hackers to his site, workers in books stores hiding his books and readers being kicked out of coffee shops for simply reading his book in public. Sounds like the communists are back, and right here in our own back yard. Beware America! Read on….
The facts your liberal friends need to hear
By Jonah GoldbergLiberals, perhaps more than anyone, believe that we should be vigilant against the threat of fascism. Now, they also believe that fascism can only come from the Right–I think they’re wrong. But, what liberals - and everyone else - very much need to understand is that whatever direction fascism comes from, it’s popular. Fascism succeeds in democratic countries because it convinces people that it’s the wave of the future, it’s progressive, it’s young, it’s vital, it’s exciting. Fascist promise to fix what’s broken in our democracy, to heal our wounds, to deliver us to promised lands. So if you think fascism comes from the Right, fine. But at least keep in mind that it won’t sell itself as dull, or uptight, or old-fashioned.
Let me take a moment to give you a concrete sense of what I mean.
Fascism appealed to youth activists. Indeed, the Nazis and Fascists were in major respects youth movements. In 1931, 60 percent of all German undergraduates supported the Nazi Student Organization. “Their goal,” the historian John Toland wrote of the young idealists who fed the Nazi rise to power, “was to establish a youth culture for fighting the bourgeois trinity of school, home and church.”
Meanwhile, middle and lower class Germans were attracted to the economic and cultural populism of Nazism. The Nazi party began as the German Worker’s Party. The Nazis economic rhetoric was eerily similar to John Edwards “Two Americas” talk. The Nazis promised to clamp down on Big Business - particularly department stores, the Wal-Marts of their day - and end the class struggle. Theodore Abel, an impressively clever American sociologist, gives us insight into why working class Germans were attracted to Nazism. In 1934 Abel took out an ad in the Nazi Party journal asking “old fighters” to submit essays explaining why they had joined. He restricted his request to “old fighters” because so many opportunists had joined the party after Hitler’s rise. The essays were combined in the fascinating book Why Hitler Came Into Power. One essayist, a coal miner, explained “Though I was interested in the betterment of the workingman’s plight, I rejected [Marxism] unconditionally. I often asked myself why socialism had to be tied up with internationalism-why it could not work as well or better in conjunction with nationalism.” A railroad worker concurred, “I shuddered at the thought of Germany in the grip of Bolshevism. The slogan ‘Workers of the World Unite!’ made no sense to me. At the same time, however, National Socialism, with its promise of a community . . . barring all class struggle, attracted me profoundly.” A third worker wrote that he embraced the Nazis because of their “uncompromising will to stamp out the class struggle, snobberies of caste and party hatreds. The movement bore the true message of socialism to the German workingman.”
Nazism’s appeal to the professional classes was just as strong. Raymond Dominick, a historian specializing in the history of German environmentalism, found that by 1939, 59 percent of conservationist leaders had joined the Nazi party, while only 10 percent of adult males had. Forty five percent of medical doctors had joined and roughly one quarter of teachers and lawyers had. The two groups of professionals with the highest rates of participation in the Nazi Party? Veterinarians were first and foresters were a close second. Dominick found a “unique nexus between National Socialism and nature conservation.”
The Nazis and Italian Fascists won-over big business, cultural elites, the youth and the lower-classes because they portrayed themselves as heroically on the side of progress, protecting the environment and the poor. Fascists preached unity, togetherness and an end to division.
Liberals need to ask themselves where do they hear this rhetoric the most?
I’m not saying that merely being for the environment, the poor or national unity makes you a fascist. But what I am saying is that if you’re concerned about spotting fascism on the horizon you can’t just look at people you don’t like. That’s like only looking for your lost car keys where the light is good. Huey Long reportedly said that if Fascism comes to America it will be called “anti-Fascism.” Liberals can still make their arguments that fascism comes from the right. But until they understand that wherever fascism may come from, it never arrives save in a form that the best and the brightest are willing to accept with open arms.
And if liberals don’t know their history, they won’t be equipped to spot it when it comes knocking.
Jonah Goldberg is the author of the New York Times bestseller Liberal Fascism.
What will it take before the liberals realize they are doing the very thing they accuse the conservatives of? Will we have to become a fully Socialized state? Will they be allowed to create a Facist state here? We must stop them now…for their own good. We must revive Common Sense!
