Beer, Urination, & Home Depot

Home Depot, Others Required To Make Day Laborer Shelters

Los Angeles has passed a city ordinance stating that all big-box, home-improvement stores (like Home Depot) will now be required to make shelters for day laborers in the LA area. These shelters will include the following: drinking water, bathrooms, tables, seating and trashcans. I would venture to say that they will need to do more eventually. Probably install some AC and maybe some Cabel Television. How much more are we going to be REQUIRED to GIVE people.

People who live near Home Depot stores have complained of day laborers drinking beer, urinating in yards or other unseemly behavior. How about instead of building them a shelter so they can continue to do this (except now with some shade) we give them some jail time!

This is just another example of BIG GOVERNMENT in their efforts to DICTATE how we live our lives! When will you (the American People) wake up and put a stop to this?

    They won’t wake up, its too late for that. The damage is done, the guilt riddled American people are told that if they make anything more than their neighbor they should give it away. If they were born here they should feel guilty for slavery over 100 years ago. If you birth certificate says America on it then you should be glad to function in a Socialist environment where few pay most and most pay none…and if your in the middle like myself, then you should shut up and be glad you didn’t make more because that would mean more taxes.

    Jeremy I’m afraid we are at a point now that will take a revolutionary war to solve. The government is nothing like it was intended to be and free thinkers are considered closed minded and racist. Now get back in line and drink the party water comrade.

    Wait a minute, shouldn’t they just fire the day-laborers? Aren’t we in an economic crisis? Give the jobs to some people who will appreciate them enough to use the bathrooms and not drink on the job.

    Liberalism: If you do something wrong we will correct the law to help you, unless you are an insane, heartless, republican then we are gonna ride your butt til you and the american people never forget about it.

    California’s screwed, and if we follow their example then America may be as well.
