I was very disturbed at something I heard on the news this morning. It wasn’t that the bridge in Minnesota collapsed but what was being said about it. They were agree that the first thing that needs to be thought of and done regarding the issue was law suits. The analyst and their guest just jumped on the idea that someone is at fault and the people that were involved need compensation. I hate that our society has become so law suit happy.
The collapse was a horrible thing and I’m sad for the families and friends that were affected, but I don’t think that a law suit should be first on anyone’s mind.

Welcome to America today…land of the offended. Why can’t people concentrate on helping the victims, the grieving and the injured without immediately saying “what can I get for this?”! It is horrible, the accident and the disaster to follow in finger pointing and lawsuit slapping.

That’s my thought, let’s deal with the real issues first!

I mean, at least they are thinking of the people, but lawsuits…geez.
Shouldn’t we be a bit more concerned about getting people away from the rubble rather than lawsuits?
