Cho Seung-Hui

His statement to the world, “When the time came, I did it. I had to.”

He went on to praise other murderers such as, “martyrs like Eric and Dylan”, in an obvious reference to Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the teenagers who killed 12 students and a teacher at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo., eight years ago this week.

Cho spewed hate towards “hedonism” and “Christianity” while talking at length about his hatred of the wealthy. He said in his idiotic letter to MSNBC, “You had a hundred billion chances and ways to have avoided today, but you decided to spill my blood. You forced me into a corner and gave me only one option. The decision was yours. Now you have blood on your hands that will never wash off.”

I have already heard enough. Common Sense says we throw it in the trash can like the garbage it is. You see, the problem here lies in the fact Cho is from the “it’s not my fault it’s everybody else” generation that is sadly destroying civilized society around us today. Look at how many times he uses the word “you”, he takes no responsibility for his actions, they all belong to the mythical person named, “you”.

No one takes responsibility for their actions, it’s mommy or daddy’s fault, its society’s fault, it’s the President’s fault, it’s all the fault of big business and oil, its all television’s fault, it’s my girlfriend’s fault because she broke up with me or wouldn’t have sex with me, it’s the fault of video games, it’s the music’s fault for having violent lyrics, its my medication, it’s the lack of medication….BLAH BLAH BLAH!

We don’t teach people to cope anymore! We don’t tell them to suck it up and move on. We teach them to lay blame, to seek therapy or support groups, to go on disability because they are depressed or can’t stop crying. SUCK IT UP PEOPLE! Grow up and learn from your mistakes and others around you!

To the entire world I say, don’t allow this to become the norm…..but sadly, it may already be too late. I’m fed up with these whining, sissy, spoiled brat, children AND adults who pick up guns to make a statement when they are obviously too stupid to choose the right thing. Make no mistake, there are VERY few who don’t know right from wrong, and it our responsibility to sort that small group out and isolate them from society, but Cho was not one of them.

Cho knew what he was doing and slowly, painstakingly planned it out over a period of time. He knew it was wrong but chose a cowards way out, and in doing so he destroyed the lives of many people around him. In a small way society is to blame, it’s time we took a stand and stop coddling people, stop spoon feeding excuses and drugs to people. It’s time to take a firm position on right and wrong America, its time we take a long hard look in the mirror, before its too late.
