I suppose it’s time I write about this. I’ve been waiting for a bit to really gather in the situation. It was a horrible thing and an occurrence that is taking place way too often any more.
‘Question Mark’ Killer Quietly Seethed With Rage
It seems that maybe this situation could have been avoided. This article states that he had recently set fire to a dorm room and that he stalked women. Those two things alone should warrant some action against him. Then you go on to find out he wrote a disturbingly graphic play
for an English class which got him referred to counseling. It seems several signs were there that showed this kid should be on watch.
We live in a society that wants to make excuses for the bad behavior of its own people. We’re also told that stereotyping is unfair and unjust. I believe what is really unfair is a disturbed young man, who apparently had some previous problems on campus, takes two semi-automatic hand guns and attacks his professors and his fellow students.
So who do we blame? Do we blame the school? Do we blame society? Do blame the gun dealer that sold him the guns or maybe even the gun manufacturers?

Since we thrive on common sense here at Coherent Thought, we are taking the stand that the person to blame is obviously the shooter himself. Maybe life was rough on him, but each and every one of us have some bad things happen sometimes. We just have to learn to respond to that stimuli in the proper way. Yeah, he used two hand guns to commit this heinous act, but he made the conscious decision to pull the trigger.
Now let’s focus on those that remain…
